In our practice, we hear the stories our clients tell about their injuries, their surgeries and their fight to recover. We have witnessed how a natural disaster can shatter lives. Whether the need is from a natural disaster or a serious injury, blood is always in short supply. That’s why, as a firm, we regularly give blood to the American Red Cross. THE BIRTHDAY CART
Scientists today can actually measure brain growth in kids who read! Sadly, many of our children live in homes where there simply are no books. They do not have the chance to grow up with Dr. Suess, or the Wild Things, or the Very Hungry Caterpillar. The value of reading is not recognized and the act of reading is not encouraged in these homes. The cycle of poverty in which these children live cannot be broken because this most fundamental key to growth and education is missing from their lives. For these reasons, we support the Birthday Cart project in local schools. The Birthday Cart sees to it that each child receives a book of his or her choice as a birthday present for each year of elementary school.
