End Distracted Driving
What is EndDD?
At Cook, Barkett, Ponder & Wolz the most important thing to us is the safety of our community and we are proud to partner with EndDD (End Distracted Driving). EndDD is a campaign of the Casey Feldman Foundation. Casey was 21 when she was killed by a distracted driver. She was struck while walking in a crosswalk on a beautiful summer day. The distracted driver said he never saw her.
Following Casey’s death her parents, Joel Feldman and Dianne Anderson, created EndDD.org and have worked to keep all of us safer on the roads from distracted drivers. Joel has personally given more than 900 presentations to about 200,000 students and adults. These educational, informative, and inspiring talks have been developed to maximize opportunities for self-reflection and behavior change. Most of us know that distracted driving is dangerous, yet we persist in driving distracted. Accordingly, EndDD.org has created innovative ways to connect with audiences. The distracted driving presentations are interactive, include both poignant and humorous videos, present the sobering statistics of our current safety crisis, share true stories of the costs of Distracted Driving, and offer simple steps that drivers can use immediately to help them and others End Distracted Driving. With your help, we can make the roads safer for all of us.
